How We Help People

  • GSM Thrift Store: Our Thrift Store provides affordable clothing, furniture, and household goods, along with vouchers for neighbors who may not be able to afford what they need. We also offer scheduled donation pickups and employment opportunities for people working toward greater stability.
  • Assistance Program: Our Assistance Program helps neighbors facing a financial gap with needs like rent, utilities, transportation, treatment costs, and other essential expenses.
  • Our Place Recovery Drop-In Center: Our Place is a daytime drop-in center where neighbors can rest, connect with peer support, use basic amenities, access resources, get birth certificates and ID's, and get help taking next steps toward recovery and stability.
  • Street Outreach: Our Street Outreach team meets neighbors where they are, offering food, water, clothing, basic supplies, encouragement, and connections to helpful services.
