Helping Hands Work Together – Annual GSM St. Francis Dinner March 6, 2025

The annual dinner brings the collaboration and community spirit of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians in support of Good Samaritan Ministries! We thank them for their community spirit and presence!

Join us for nourishment & fellowship while helping us raise funds for property improvements at our store…Safety, security & access! Our store provides more than 70% of the operating funds we use to help our neighbors in need in the community we serve!! We appreciate your support!

This year we are raising funds while honoring St. Joseph the Carpenter. Join us for a meal featuring soup & pasta to nourish your body, enlightened discussion on our programs, progress and goals moving forward and collaborative fellowship throughout the evening. All funds raised will be used for renovations of the Good Samaritan Ministries store dock area with necessary upgrades for the safety and productivity of our Assistance Ministry Team! Point in Time Annual Count January 30, 2025

WHEN –  Thursday Evening January 30th , 2025

Thursday, January 30th     Brief Training for “Counters” @  3PM at UWLCA.
Counter will plan to be at their assigned sites from roughly 4-7pm

 

WHERE – 4 Sites and a Late-Night Team

God’s Love  /  GSM Thrift Store  /  St Pauls Church /  East Helena

Late Shift will meet at UWLCA at 9pm and disperse across town.

 

WHY 

Every year HUD sponsors an annual census in every community to determine the number of unsheltered persons that reside there. The results of these surveys effect the number of federal dollars available to assist with these issues locally.
